Ms Jane Wardlaw
Ms Jane Wardlaw joined the Independent Advisory Council in 2025. She is widely known as one of Tasmania’s leading disability advocates and consultants.
Ms Wardlaw has a diverse career in community capacity building and development and has worked at all levels of government across Australia, including in remote and rural regions.
Serving on multiple advisory bodies, Ms Wardlaw champions inclusion, equity, and the realisation of the untapped potential of people with disabilities. Her leadership extends to her role on the board of a statewide disability services provider and her participation in the Tasmanian Minister's Disability Consultative Group.
Ms Wardlaw has lived experience of disability. She has the degenerative condition limb girdle muscular dystrophy.
